The continuously expanding database, covering more than twenty scientific disciplines, provides access to over 900 publications in history and social sciences, encompassing the majority of books published by Gondolat Kiadó since 1990.
The database, accessible through the szaktars.hu platform, is available for use by higher education institutions through both IP-based services and EduID-based identification.

The Publisher's scope span across the fields of cultural history, literary history, literary theory, linguistics and language history, history, archaeology, art history, art theory, architecture, sociology, psychology, ethnography, library history, musicology, theater history, and theater theory. In the continuously updating database, there are currently close to 1000 independent works available.

The collection contains scholarly books created in the intellectual workshop of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and published by the Akadémiai Publishing from 1950 to1996 (to a lesser extent after 1996). The the actual title of the Akadémiai Publishing House are available in the ever-expanding MeRSZ (https://mersz.hu) database. The digitization project was implemented in cooperation with the Library and Information Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Akadémiai Publishing House and the Arcanum Database Ltd.
