ULA Savaria Library and Archives (Szombathely, Hungary)
The ELTE EKL Savaria Library and Archives took part in the professional day of the 2024 National Library Days. This event was particularly special as we celebrated both the 30th Vas County Library Day and the 70th anniversary of the Móra Ferenc Library. An interesting and topical presentation was given by Csaba Csuk, the head of the ELTE EKL Savaria Library and Archives, entitled „Artificial Intelligence from the User's Perspective: the impact of AI on our work and life”.
Students from the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Bavaria (HföD) visited our library on 26 September 2024 to exchange professional experiences.
The Book of Your Life project was carried out between January and September 2024 in cooperation with the ELTE University Library and Archives, the ELTE, the International Strategy Office and the University Strategy Office.
Zoltán Magyary (1888–1945) was an outstanding figure in Hungarian law and public administration, who put his outstanding scientific achievements into practice. He is credited with the foundation of the Hungarian Institute of Public Administration. He published his scientific results in four languages. The entire archive is available now in the ELTE Digital Institutional Knowledge Repository.
The library intended to draw attention to the protection of our cultural values and the preservation of our built heritage with our event organized in the University Library and Archives of Eötvös Loránd University within the framework of this year's Cultural Heritage Days.

Photocopies of the medieval certificate collection created by László Fejérpataky are available in the ELTE Digital Institutional Repository. The collection contains a total of 106 documents, 96 of which date from before 1526.

On the occasion of the Cultural Heritage Days, Klára Bábel will give an opening concert on the 21st of September 2024 at 11.00 at the ELTE University Library and Archives. The concert will feature works by Daquin, Handel, Mozart, Glinka, Glière and Godefroid.
Our series entitled “Mosaics from the heritage of ELTE” presents some of the key material cultural heritage of the Eötvös Loránd University. The object of the month is the Eötvös Loránd University Commemorative Medal.

In accordance with the tradition of Eötvös Loránd University, the Senate of the University presented the awards for outstanding work and outstanding performance to the faculty, staff and associates at the opening ceremonial Senate meeting. Among this year's winners was an employee of ELTE ULA Savaria Library and Archives operating in Szombathely.
According to the traditions of Eötvös Loránd University, the Senate of the University presented the awards to the lecturers, employees and staff who provided excellent work and outstanding performance at the opening Senate meeting of the academic year. This year's honorees included several staff members of the ELTE University Library and Archives, who are committed to the university and library development.
ULA Savaria Library and Archives (Szombathely, Hungary)
The ELTE ULA Savaria University Library and Archives will switch to RFID-based lending from September 2024. Using the new tools, library books are automatically checked out or returned. The innovation reduces queuing time and improves service to readers.
On the 5th of September 2024, the ELTE University Library and Archives hosted two rounds of international groups as part of the International Year Opening Ceremony.
