Details of registration

Registration is a prerequisite to using the library. Teachers, graduate students (BA, MA), BTK minor students, students of accredited PhD programs of the institute and other employees of the Slavic and Baltic Philology Institute of ELTE BTK may register by filling out a registration form. Registration is free of charge and is valid until the termination of the legal standing as student or termination of employment.

Borrowing is only allowed for teachers and registered students (BA, MA, PhD with the Institute) of the Slavic and Baltic Philology Institute.

3 books may be borrowed at the same time, the loan period is 2 weeks during the term and 1 week during the examination period. Renewal may be requested twice, provided that there is no reservation for the book.

Two computers are available for readers in the reading room, where the ELTE catalogue is accessible.

During opening hours, the books and periodicals located in the reading room, warehouse and teachers’ rooms may be used freely.
Borrowing is only allowed for teachers and registered students (BA, MA, PhD with the Institute) of the Slavic and Baltic Philology Institute. Documents, the borrowing of which is not permitted, may be taken out of the library for photocopying, by depositing a personal identification (student ID).
