We are pleased to announce that the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) has accepted the application of the journal „Lejana. Revista Crítica de Narrativa Breve” to the Scopus database. „Lejana” publishes scientific papers of literary criticism in Spanish and English of short fiction Spanish works. The journal is published since 2010 by its editor, the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Humanities Department of Spanish Language and Literature. It is an 'MTMT Qualified Journal' from 2023.

In the first semester of 2023 Elsevier offers free online trainings in English and Hungarian for researchers, university lecturers, MA and PhD students and librarians. Trainings by the Elsevier Online Training Hub, Elsevier Webinars for Central & Eastern Europe in English.

Elsevier has offered trial access to its Complete Anatomy digital database. The database can be tested between the 26th of April 2023 and the 30th of June 2023.

The ELTE University Library and Archives announces an online training on managing research data and preparing a research data management plan. The presentation will also cover the proper management of research data and the preparation of the research data management plan required by NKFIH as part of the application to OTKA grants. There are two available sessions of the training. Registration is required for each presentation.

Wolters Kluwer Publishing has offered trial access to the Lippincott Williams and Wilkins medical journal database. The database is available for testing between the 17th of April 2023 and the 17th of May 2023, connected to the university's internet network.

The publisher SAGE has offered trial access to EISZ member institutions. The database will be available for testing between the 14th of April 2023 and the 2nd of June 2023, connected to the university's internet network. Remote access to the database is possible using a VPN service.

Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL) offered trial access to EISZ member institutions. The database can be tested connected to the university's internet network between 14.04.2023 and 14.05.2023. Remote access to the database is possible using a VPN service.

At the first quarterly report of the K21 Quality Coordination Committee 2023, the leaders of the working groups reported on the results of the past quarter, ongoing work and changes.

Bloomsbury Publisher has offered a two-month trial access to EISZ member institutions that is available between the 1st of April and the 31st of May 2023. The three history databases are accessible from the ELTE internet network and via VPN for remote access.

The Repository Certification Committee of the MTMT issued certificates to two more scientific online journals affiliated with the ELTE Faculty of Humanities. The „Névtani Értesítő” and the „Dissertationes Archaeologicae ex Instituto Archaeologico Universitatis de Rolando Eötvös nominatae” journals won MTMT Qualifications, which is considered outstanding both within the university and nationwide.

Yale University provided 60 day institution-wide trial of two databases, eHRAF World Cultures and eHRAF Archaeology. The trial period ends on 24 April 2023.

After several years of preparation, self-service borrowing and return based on radio frequency identification became available in our library.

We provide information on which databases the Eötvös Loránd University will subscribe to within the scope of the EISZ in this year. The Electronic Information Service National Program (EISZ) provides access to electronic scientific content by purchasing a national license for participants in higher education, public collections and non-profit research.

The ELTE University Library and Archives has joined the National Library of Korea Digitized Material Service partnership programme, which has provided access to more than nine million digital documents, including nearly one and a half million books. The content is available on designated terminals in three libraries, the Library of the Institute of East Asian Studies, the Library of Faculty of Education and Psychology and the University Library and Archives.

For the first time, ELTE journals received the title „MTMT Qualified Journal”. Three online academic journals „Lejana”, „RussianStudies.hu” and „Journal of East Asian Cultures” have been certified. The recognition is considered outstanding both within the university and nationally.

As of January 1st 2023, the L'Harmattan Digital Database will be available under a new name and at a new location that is the L'Harmattan Open Access és Archive platform.
