In the quality development program approved in 2007, Eötvös Loránd University undertook to extend the quality development processes to every one of its organizational units. The library system, as the important service provider branch of the institution, is part of this process. The K21 library quality development program operates with the support of the Quality Control Committee of the University.
The objectives and results of the quality development project of the library contribute to the realization of the most important goals and strategy of ELTE, namely to become the leading university of Hungary and of the Central European region as well as to receive excellent qualifications in the course of the accreditation process for higher education and research universities.
